Brief- Two sessions (23rd June and 29th June), were conducted in the capacity building modules under the AMRUT scheme by IIHS, Bengaluru for the officials from the Government of Tamil Nadu. The sessions included an orientation to the evolution of water systems in Amber and then Jaipur at various scales, it explained the participants as to how water was always an integral part of planning. The second part of the sessions was a site visit to the Jaigarh Fort where the participants were shown and briefed about the water channels and aqueducts coming from the Nahargarh Hills and also the ramps coming from the Maota Lake along with the storage tanks. The last part of the session took the participants to the Panna Main ka Kund to explain them about the water system for the Amber town and Fort.
