Brief: A Geo-tagging workshop was organised the office of Commissioner, Department of Archaeology, Gollapudi, Vijayawada. It was conducted for staff members comprising of Deputy Directors, Assistant Director, Technical Assistants, Site Supervisors and others the staffs of Dept. of Archaeology for a duration of two hours
It involved hands- on training to the staff on geo-tagging of archaeological sites and artefacts on sites using android phones. Geo-tagging of images, travel routes during site visits online was dealt. It concluded with interactive session with the staffs, regarding their queries and previous methods of marking on site.
