The Kalpana Chawla Memorial Planetarium, named after Haryana’s Dr Kalpana Chawla, was established in 2007 by Haryana State Council for Science and Technology. The planetarium has been developed for imparting non-formal education in astronomy. The gallery of the planetarium has interactive exhibits on the subject. A special part of gallery throws light on the life of Dr Kalpana Chawla. The Astro Park, an outdoor exposition, is an added attraction.
