The Museum houses about 15,000 antiquities belonging to the late Harappa period collected by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Archaeology and Museums of the Government of Punjab through various archaeological excavations and explorations at Sanghol. These include antiquities of diverse nature like sculptures, terrocottas, pottery, seals, sealings, coins, ivory, carvings, precious stones and other art objects. The pride of the Sanghol Museum is the stone sculptures displayed in the upper gallery.
